Well at least I hope it stay uneventful! I haven't gotten anything accomplished today and C has been overly demanding to the point where it's starting to drive me a little nuts.
A's last day of 2nd grade was yesterday although i don't know why they even bothered to go this last week. Sure one of them was a make-up day from all the snow days, but still. For the last 2 months they had tacked on an extra 1/2 hour to each school day to use as time for make-up days. That threw my whoel schedule out the door and made it hard for A to enjoy time at home to do whatever since she then didn't get home until 4 and her bedtime was 8. So by the time she got homework done, read for the required 15+ minutes a day, eating supper, and taking a shower she didn't much time to just sit and relax.
Hoping to get at least one decent storm this afternoon. As of right now my Bing bar says that it's 90 out. And it gets humid here in the wonderful Buckeye state. So 90+stickiness=STORMS!!
I have been obessive about the eReader I had gotten for Mother's Day. The local library does ebooks now so I don't have to go all the way into town to get books. So I've been going book crazy the past month. I actually lost count of how many books I've gotten and read so far. Bette than sitting around and watching tv all day even though we don't have cable or satellite to begin with.
